The Waco Siege, which ended in the deaths of 76 members of a controversial religious sect known as the Branch Davidians, took place in 1993. Most of the deaths occurred when the building in which they were hiding caught fire during an assault by the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
